Hanna Experience played a central role in the development and delivery planning of the European Men's Water Polo Championship 2026 project, contributing across both the creative and operational layers of the event.
Our involvement covered the design and structuring of the sports presentation concept, with a strong focus on player presentation, audience emotion, venue atmosphere, and the overall visual identity of the championship experience. A key part of our work was the development of the player introduction format, where athletes were presented through a staged visual narrative combining LED content, animation logic, music, lighting direction, and live presentation flow. The concept was designed to elevate players into the central HEROES of the event while creating a premium, broadcast-friendly arena experience.
Within the sports presentation segment, Hanna Experience also introduced AVATARS for the first time as part of the player presentation concept, a creative product developed within Hanna and one of the elements that distinctly sets our work apart. Through this approach, we once again pushed the boundaries of how athletes can be presented at a major tournament, combining character-based visual storytelling with live event technology to create a more immersive and memorable introduction format.
In parallel, Hanna Experience was responsible for the operational thinking behind how these creative ideas could realistically function within the venue environment. This included presentation logic linked to match protocols, player timing and movement, coordination between stage, LED, lighting and audio departments, and the practical integration of show elements into the live sports schedule. Our work addressed not only what the audience sees, but how every moment is executed in real time under the conditions of a major international championship.
Beyond the player presentation segment, our scope also extended into FAN ENGAGEMENT and FAN ZONE planning, where we developed concepts aimed at strengthening the relationship between the event and its audience through interactive, visually attractive, and operationally feasible formats. We also gave the championship a distinctive signature through the light setup, which played a major role in defining the overall atmosphere of the venue and in reinforcing the identity of the sports presentation itself.
Our scope further included broader event experience planning, including OPENING and CLOSING ceremony direction, visual staging proposals, technical coordination logic, and the integration of creative content with venue infrastructure. We worked to align artistic ambition with operational feasibility, ensuring each concept could be translated into a clear, executable production framework.
This project reflects Hanna Experience's approach to major sports events. As we often say, WE CREATE, WE PRODUCE, WE OPERATE. Our role was not limited to content creation or event styling. It was about building the structure through which creative ideas could become a fully functioning live experience at championship scale.
