Full delivery of sport presentation, technical production, and multi-venue operations for the European Aquatics Championships 2024 in Belgrade. Hanna Experience acted as a central delivery partner, responsible for the design, planning, and execution of the complete in-venue experience across 4 disciplines (Swimming, Water Polo, Artistic Swimming, Diving) and 3 competition venues: Košutnjak (Diving), Ada Ciganlija (Open Water Swimming), and Milan Gale Muškatirović (Swimming & Artistic Swimming).
The project required over 115,000 man-hours and the installation of more than 60 km of steel structures, forming the backbone of temporary venue infrastructure and competition environments. Scope included full technical production design and implementation, covering audio systems, architectural and show lighting, LED platforms, content workflows, show control systems, and integration with existing venue conditions and broadcast requirements.
Operations were executed simultaneously across all venues over 16 days of competition, with three fully independent but synchronized production teams delivering sport presentation, show direction, and complete on-site operations in parallel. This included detailed scheduling, staffing, logistics coordination, and real-time decision-making across multiple disciplines and locations.
Hanna Experience was also responsible for the full delivery of ceremonies and protocol, including the execution of 80 medal ceremonies, ensuring consistency with European Aquatics standards and broadcast timing. In parallel, the team developed and implemented fan engagement strategies, audience interaction formats, and sponsor integrations, elevating the overall spectator experience across all sessions.
The project required continuous coordination with international stakeholders, including federations, technical partners, and host broadcasters, ensuring full alignment between live event operations and global broadcast output. Due to its scale, complexity, and multi-layered execution, this stands as one of the most demanding and comprehensive projects delivered by Hanna Experience.
